You're probably familiar with the cute little Air Plants that are trending right now...

Ok so, What is a Tillandsia Plant?
Tillandsia plants are a family of plants that can be found in Central and South America. They are categorized as bromeliads and most of them have a unique way to store water.
Tillandsia plants are very useful because they can provide us with oxygen, purify the air, and reduce the levels of CO2 in our atmosphere.
They come with many different shapes, sizes, and colors so we can pick one that matches your living space and decor style.

The Benefit of having a Tillandsia Plant:
Tillandsias provide benefits such as absorbing toxins from the air around them, purifying the air for those who suffer from allergies or asthma, and reducing noise pollution by absorbing sound waves.
How to care for your Tillandsia Plant
Tillandsias are often referred to as air plants because they do not need soil. They survive by taking water and nutrients from the air and the surface of rocks and other plants.
The following guide will help you grow and care for a Tillandsia plant:
- Light: Place your plant in moderate to bright light, but avoid direct sunlight.
- Air: Keep the plant in a place where it can get plenty of air circulation.
- Temperature: Keep the plant at room temperature.
- Soil: Tillandsias don't need soil so they should be kept on top of rocks or branches or gravel.
You can also use sand if it is acidic enough and doesn't retain too much water.
