Day 17- Take a walk today!


It's the perfect day to stretch your legs and take a walk. Go out to a park, connect with the trees, walk the pathways, enjoy the sun, hear the birds...

Walking outdoors has numerous benefits for the body and soul.


When you walk outdoors, you will feel good... really good. Your mood will improve, as well as your circulation, your heart and your brain function. Breathe in the fresh air, feel the calm.


Walking everyday maintains a healthy weight and strengthens your bones and muscles.

Exercise of any kind sends signals to your body to release endorphins, which will instantly improve your mood and bring positive feelings to your body.

Taking a walk outside inspires creativity, you'll open mind space for creative thoughts and ideas.


Your skin will look younger and you'll increase your levels of vitamin D, plus you'll lower your risk of lung cancer. It also may manage various conditions, including heart disease, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes. Walking brings better control of your foot position, improving balance and body awareness which can lead to improved mechanics of the hips, knees, and core.


Walking is a form or meditation. It clears your mind of the chatter that may wander. Feeling connected to nature is one of the easiest ways to ground yourself. Whether you choose to walk on grass, sand, or even mud, allowing your skin to touch the natural ground can provide you with wonderful grounding energy.
