Day 21- Love your Body, Mind and Soul health! In short... LOVE YOU! How blessed we are to live our lives! The only thing that will carry us through the rough times is taking care of ourselves...

Love your Health means focusing and listening on what your body is communicating with you. We have wonderful built-in systems in place always guiding us through life. When we're feeling emotionally overwhelmed, it's time to take a break, from whatever is causing the distress.
We all know what stress does to our bodies, and it's not pretty.... so, how long will we ignore the body's messages?

Make small changes, but start today -
You do not have to redesign your lifestyle today... that would feel overwhelming and that is the opposite of what we are looking to achieve. The key is to start small, even tiny... but to start today.
During the initial shut down of the pandemic, I'm sure we enjoyed the first week of doing nothing... yet after time of doing nothing... our bodies began to change.
For me, I realized I was not moving much and later confirmed as I had gained the famous "corona 15" that was 15 pounds heavier as our movement schedule was changed do to the shutdown.
At first, I didn't mind... I was with my family and we loved each other unconditionally right?... but after a while, I turned on my step counter to see where I was. It was an eye opener... less that 600 steps a day. ( I'm embarrassed to even say that) I was working a lot online and sitting and I wasn't moving much, so my steps for the day we're very low....
My body started communicating with me through my joints. My right knee has always been a health radar for me.... Not to mention, heart burn was back, headaches and such... Hmmmmm
this was beginning to sound a bit more serious... My body was clearly unhappy, which meant my mind was right along for the unhappy ride.

It reminded me of my poor health in 2012 when I was in pretty bad shape because I was working so hard, I lost sight of Me. Several tests later, I was diagnosed with Hashimotos, an autoimmune disorder that can cause an underactive thyroid. With this disease, my immune system was attacking my poor thyroid and because of this my thyroid couldn't make enough thyroid hormones.
I had biopsies done as I was told it looked like cancer, thankfully, the biopsies were negative. I was given the chance to have surgery to remove my thyroid and take medication for the rest of my life... or change my diet. I decided for no surgery and drastically changed my diet.
In the process, I lost 40 lbs and gained an whole new look on life. I reversed my Hashimotos diagnosis. 1 year later I went back for a thyroid check and another biopsy and everything was clear.

I believe in good ol' fashion clean eating, although I am the biggest offender at times, when I get lost in my projects of work and forget to take care of me. I know I'm not the only one, we all do it, one way or another. Luckily, we have our built in radars to advise when we need to focus back on our body and mind. The key is to listen to the clues... and act on the changes.
I've made big changes again... started walking everyday, back to my morning juice shots and smoothies, meditating and more importantly listening to the clues.
This is what I call my "The Good Morning life", where I awaken to today's possibilities! Meditating, stretching, walking, nourishing my body with good, clean, colorful food, and carrying the sun's bright energy throughout the day. I love my life! I decided long ago I would life my life as Fun as possible. In order to have a fun life, my body and mind must be a priority... It's ok to get off track, here and there in life... that is how we learn. Just get back and take it slow... it's all right....everything is in perfect order...

Friends, everyone has their own opinions of what 2021 will look like, but the opinion that should matter the most is yours. How will your 2021 look like? Only you can create what you want to see........

Always wishing you well,
