It’s a wonderful time to reconnect with ol’ family and friends that have passed on. A time to remember the special memories that are dear to the heart, the laughter and fun times that made the friendship special.

Day of the Dead is an oppotrinity to create your “Ofrenda” or Offering. This is a special memorial Altar where you can place Photos and momentos of your Loved ones.

Placing food and beverages on your alter is an offering of love.

Since I’m on day 2 of my 12 days of Quiche, today I made a Mexican Quiche that celebrates all the Mexican colors and flavors.
